1. What is the best way to store your desserts?
Cakes - Cakes can be left at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the fridge for up to 5 days. If the cake contains fruit, it will need to be stored in the fridge to maintain its quality/freshness. When serving, let the cake sit at room temperature for at least 1 hour before cutting and eating. Butter-based cakes are best eaten when soft!
Cupcakes - Cakes can be left at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the fridge for up to 5 days. If the cake contains fruit, it will need to be stored in the fridge to maintain its quality/freshness. If the cupcakes contain fruit, they will need to be stored in the fridge to maintain its quality/freshness. When serving, let sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before eating. Butter-based cakes are best eaten when soft!
Macarons - Macarons can be left at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the fridge for up to 5 days. When serving, let sit at room temperature for at least 15 minutes before eating. You also may freeze for up to 3 months in an airtight container and leave at room temperature for about 30 mins before eating.
Sugar cookies - Store at room temperature (cool, dry area) and away from direct sunlight for up to 7 days in the packaging box or in an airtight container.
2. How early in advance should I make an order?
Please kindly inquire and confirm your order at least 2 weeks in advance. Large orders and wedding cakes will need to be ordered at least 1 month in advance. To reserve your date, I recommend inquiring about availability ASAP because some months may naturally be busier than others.
3. Do you rent out cake stands?
Yes, cake stands can be rented upon request. Styles will vary - first come, first serve. $10 per small stand (6-8” diameter). $20 per large stand (10-12” diameter). In addition, a $30 refundable deposit is required for each piece. The $30 deposit would be refunded to the customer upon returning the cake stand. The stands must be returned in the same condition within 10 days.
4. Do you accept cake tasting boxes?
Yes, cake tasting is accepted upon request. Cake tastings will be in the form of cupcakes. $18 for 2 flavors/4 cupcakes. Or $36 for 4 flavors/8 cupcakes.
5. Do you accept a deposit for orders?
Yes - depending on the order, I will require a deposit to confirm your order. For smaller orders, I typically require full payment to be submitted in order to hold and confirm your order.
6. What payments do you accept?
Venmo, Zelle, or Credit Card are the most preferred methods of payment.
7. Do you provide allergen-free products?
Even if my product does not contain a specific allergen, all of my products are NOT baked in an allergen-free kitchen. Please be conscious of this when serving my desserts to your guests.
8. How much do you usually charge for transportation/delivery?
Currently only providing delivery within a 22 mile radius of our location in San Jose. My general rule of thumb is $1.75 per mile (one-way) with a minimum of $10 for small orders and minimum of $20 for large orders.
